An internal build of the upcoming Microsoft Office 2010 has leaked to the web according to Wzor. The build comes in at a staggering 3.51GB which is significantly larger than the public beta build which was at 749mb; the leaked build is tagged with the build number 14.0.4730.1007
There is no information as to why the build is so much larger but one speculation is that it may include debugging software. Another possibility is that the code may not be packed for media release which would make the build much larger than the compressed format released to the general public.
The screenshot does show that there does appear to be more applications in the leak than the beta that was released to the general public which may also be why the build is significantly larger; currently both X64 and X86 builds are circulating the web.

Sources close to the Windows Live and Bing divisions at Microsoft have confirmed to BlogoFlux that Microsoft is currently developing both Bing and Windows Live Messenger iPhone applications.
Both applications are likely to be released alongside the upcoming Windows Live Wave 4 updates due in approximately March 2010. BlogoFlux understands that Windows Live is working aggressively to move its applications onto the iPhone. Last week Microsoft principal group program manager David Raissipour confirmed to Cnet news that “We are actively working on it” when questioned over the Bing iPhone plans.
Internally the philosophy “if you can’t beat them join them” is being adopted for iPhone development. Microsoft understands it needs to compete multi-platform for its web and cloud based applications if it wants to maintain and grow market share. Both applications have been available for nearly a year.
Stay tuned for more information on Microsoft’s Windows Live Wave 4 plans including what Windows Live Messenger will look like, tabbed messenger conversations and the Ribbon interface for Windows Live Writer exclusively here later this week.

Earlier this week, Engadget received a set of images from an anonymous insider at Google showing a quick insight into the potential future of Google’s web applications – with a hint of wave. It looks very much like a work in progress, but a change such as this is needed.
The pictures show a unified UI across all Google applications – including Google search, GMail and Google Contacts – which is a very similar UI to Google Wave – which is more than welcome. Engadget was told that “the goal is to provide a consistent experience throughout all Google Apps and blur the line between the browser and the website (e.g. drag and drop, right-click, etc.).”
Engadget also reported that they could not confirm the images authenticity, but the tipster did show real insider knowledge of Google, so these images should be the real deal. If so, it looks like the Google interface will finally be bought up to date, as it hasn’t really been updated since it’s launch on April 1, 2004.
